EU4Green organised a regional workshop in Tirana focused on enhancing the involvement of civil society organisations in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and similar formalised procedures in the Western Balkans.

The workshop featured presentations of good practice case studies, group discussions on effective CSO engagement strategies, and collaborative work on developing key messages for a policy brief aimed at decision-makers.

Participants from all WB6 economies exchanged experiences, identified challenges, and contributed to improving transparency and public participation in environmental governance.
