EU4Green Photo Exhibition Opening in Pristina

From powerful images of nature to stories of community, innovation, and resilience, Europe House Pristina hosted the opening of the EU4Green Photo Contest exhibition, highlighting the region’s creativity and the urgent need for environmental resilience and sustainability in the Western Balkans.
The event brought together representatives from the EU Office to Kosovo, the EU4Green project, representatives from the prime minister’s office , alongside environmental experts, NGOs and local media. Together, they celebrated talented photographers whose works portray the region’s creativity, community spirit, and commitment to protecting nature.
During his opening remarks, Mr. Vadim Stirbu , Programme Officer of the EU Office in Kosovo, highlighted that: “Art, culture, and photography allow us to connect with people in ways that policies alone cannot. They inspire us, they move us, and they remind us of what is at stake”
The exhibition showcases 15 winning photo stories, selected from 138 submissions across the Western Balkans, a strong testament to the region’s shared dedication to sustainability and the Green Agenda.
