The circular economy is a topic that is getting more and more attention. For this reason, EU4Green supports the municipalities in Albania to assess the knowledge and gaps they have on this issue and provides its support through training preparations and a collaborative process.

A two-day workshop was held in the cities of Vlora and Shkodra, where not only people at the municipal level, but also people at the level of civil organizations participated.

During this workshop, the principles of the circular economy were addressed to help the respective municipalities and working groups were developed to identify the knowledge gaps related to this topic.

Each group presented the points that were found and some main priorities were defined for the following steps.
