Steering the Green Transition: EU4Green’s 5th Project Steering Committee Meeting

On 27th November 2024, the EU4Green project hosted its Fifth Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting in Vienna, bringing together representatives from Western Balkans economies, EU institutions, project partners and project experts. The meeting reviewed progress, addressed challenges, and set priorities for advancing the Green Agenda in the region.

Key Outcomes of the Meeting:

  • A comprehensive review of project activities and achievements over the past six months.
  • Strategic discussions on upcoming activities for the remaining project duration
  • Insights into key topics, including circular economy, depollution water, air and soil, biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, monitoring & reporting, communication, green education, participation, and green finance
  • Collaborative approaches to overcoming challenges and ensuring successful implementation of the Green Agenda.

The EU4Green project stays committed to supporting the Western Balkans in transitioning to resource-efficient, and sustainable economies. Guided by the PSC, the project aligns with the EU’s commitment to climate neutrality by 2050, ensuring impactful and inclusive solutions for a greener future.
