The regional online workshop on Sustainable Agriculture brought together environmental and agricultural experts and policymakers from across the Western Balkans to explore how we measure sustainability in farming.
The session featured insightful presentations from the Environment Agency Austria on:

• Gross Nutrient Balance (GNB)
• Soil erosion risk through crop proxies
• High Nature Value (HNV) Farmland
• On-Top Indicators across the WB6

With first results presented for all six Western Balkan economies, the discussions shed light on progress, challenges and the way forward for greener agricultural practices and better environmental monitoring in the region.
