As part of the EU4Green project, a pilot training on “Green Transition and Circular Economy” was held in Shkodër, gathering stakeholders from across Albania and Kosovo to explore sustainable development approaches and circular economy strategies adapted to local needs.

The training welcomed participants from the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure (Kosovo), the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (Albania), the Municipality of Shkodra, several municipalities in Kosovo, civil society organisations, and academia, including the University of Shkodra.

The training encouraged peer learning, practical application of circular economy principles, and dialogue across sectors – supporting stronger cooperation in the Western Balkans towards a green and circular future.
