Webinar in Green Budgeting

The webinar brought together finance sector experts, regional practitioners and public-sector stakeholders who are engaging in circular economy (CE) project development, investment, and implementation in the Western Balkans. Participants gained insight into how the finance sector is approaching circular economy financing, what information sources are used and which projects are already being supported.

Transitioning to a circular economy is a key pillar of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. By tackling waste, resource efficiency and redesigning value chains, CE projects can unlock investments, reduce environmental footprints and enhance regional resilience. The webinar’s materials now provide a resource for project developers, financial institutions and government agencies to deepen their work and scale up green financing.

EU4Green has realized many activities, including workshops, webinars, consultations etc to enhance green financing and build capacities needed in the WB6 to achieve the necessary goals in this segment of the Green Agenda.
