Green finance webinar ‘Circular Economy Finance‘

The webinar “Circular Economy Finance”, organized by the Environment Agency Austria under the EU4Green project, funded by the EU and Austrian Development Agency, with an intervention by the European Investment Bank, offered its participants to:

• Gain Insight: Understand how finance sector approaches financing of circular economy (CE), the sources of information. Gain insights from the European Investment Bank on how some projects are already financed in the region.
• Engage: Participate in interactive formats and Q&A sessions with experts.
• Enable: Preparing for financing of CE projects and approaching financial institutions.

The webinar featured:

• Hannah Bartels and Nina Meyer (Environment Agency Austria) – Financing approaches and interactive Q&A
• Glenn Orveillon (European Investment Bank) – Case studies on CE finance in practice

The event offered valuable insights into Circular Economy financing mechanisms, examples of successful projects, and practical guidance for engaging with financial institutions to advance sustainable investments in the region.
